Door To Door Canvassing Tips
Any tips for a campaign volunteer?
I am volunteering for a national candidate. We (the volunteers) mainly do phone banking (calling voter rolls) and canvassing (going door to door).
Does anyone have any tips on how to do this most effectively? How to get over nerves and so on?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am volunteering for a national candidate in my city also. I will say that doing voter registration and canvassing is not overly fun, but the more you do it, the more you feel comfortable with it. Over all, I have gotten a lot of good feedback from the public so that helps too.
